The most abrassive, over the top personality on DFW airwaves. Here he is...the Cobra!

No, I don't embrace him. He and Greggo talk out of their ass all the time...esp about CFB.
Gordo and HCGP are my leaders.

yeah cowtown...that is what ALL tcu fans call their loud and annoying head coach. All 8 fans.
I think he is a good coach, but he is goofy and needs to just shut up sometimes.
Also, he would not let them put AC in their new indoor facility...that is the stupidest thing i have ever heard. Its like a sauna in there. Its worse than outside.

Did they have the big fans going to pump hot air out? We had one in high school and as long as the fans were pumping air out it was fine. We also had those giant fans on the ground. I'm sure with those it isn't too bad.
Why does he need to shut up?

Mike, aren't you an avid reader of the Startlegram?

Besides, how are you going to get conditioned to play in the heat if you don't practice in the heat? And really, the only purpose of it is to use it in inclimate weather. And in inclimate weather, its not hot outside anyway.

The purpose of an indoor facility is recruiting. But no, you use an indoor facility every day of the year (at least every school in the nation that has one does). Not saying you don't practice outside, you just stretch and do walk throughs in the facility. We listened to a guy at coaching school (some professor) about "conditioning" your body to the heat. According to his research (football only) that is hogwash. Your body, no matter how much its been exposed to heat in previous days, breaks down at the exact same rate when you get in the sun. Now, that only goes so far. There is mental value to "conditioning" your body. Anyways, no, there weren't any fans, and yes that would have helped.

I think there are two huge fans at either end. I think they have shutters that open electronically. They may have been close. Whatever the case, HCGP likes to practice outside any chance he gets.
