Im ready for the tourny..need to put a new coat of wax on the "lone star light" though..and make sure i change the oil in the lower unit on my beast of a motor (3hp)

***These are Suggestions only***
Entry Fee: at least $40 per two man team
5 two man teams
boats are allowed, must supply your own boat if you wish to use one
No gas motors, only trolling motors
Heaviest 5 fish stringer wins
No catfish
Everyone starts at the exact same time and leaves from the exact same spot.
Everyone must be back at or before designated weigh in time. At the same spot we leave from.
Prize Breakdown:
1st-all entry money (minus cost of prizes 2-5)
2nd- case of ice cold beer
3rd- 12 pack of ice cold beer
4th- 6 pack of ice cold beer
5th- one measly rodeo cold schafer light and the knowledge that you do indeed suck at fishing, and at life

I think it would be really cool if we did this up right.
We could have one of those weigh ins like they do on t.v. where all the boats are backed up onto the bank and each team lifts their fish out of the cooler one at a time and shows it to the crowd. Then at the end we will be like: team x only needs a pound and a half to win the tourney do they have it. At this time I will pull the biggest baddest black bass of the tourney out and the crowd will go crazy.
Speaking of which, the biggest bass should get some award too. Maybe another sixer or a cd or something small like that.

scheu- instead of maps we're going to give each team a gps unit. That way everyone can mark their hot spots, and not forget where they are. This was really sully's idea, he claims he "just can't fish" without gps, an underwater camerea, and a $300 baitcasting combo he can't help but backlash.

haha..awesome..will those be mounted on our Ranger Z22 Comanaches that are provided by the tournament or what? Also I guess I better get on the phone to rent all the big tents and generators needed to run a show of this size.. has anyone called Bill Dance or Kevin VanDam to see if they want in on this?
