Last I heard of a kid being dragged off by his face mask was when a coach did it to an exciting young talent out of denton, texas in 1998. It seems his father, who happened to be the coach, didn't agree with a certain pass decision (which said player still thinks was badass) . Even though the player saved about 15 yds on the play by getting rid of the ball.
