You aren't wrong, juan. Dallas does indeed suck. Or at least some things about it suck. But I bet plenty sucks about Lubbock too.

Here's my top 5 things that suck about Dallas:
1. That craphole at the Loop 12/114/and 183 intersection.
2. Dallas Douchebags.
3. City Government
4. Cover Bands
5. SMU

I will say the folks in Lubbock were some of the nicest I have met anywhere. From the waiters at the restaurants to the hotel clerks to the random guy that walked all the way across the parking lot to ask us if we wanted him to take a picture with our camera of us at the Buddy Holly statue. I would NEVER hand my camera to some random dude here in D/FW.

Well, maybe on their own territory they are nice...but get them on enemy soil and they turn into some real pricks.

things that suck about lubbock...
1. we have to drive 20 minutes to buy beer outside of town
2. when it rains here, everything floods
3. it's at least a 2-hour drive from another major city
4.it gets really windy all the time
5. every cool live venue gets shut down eventually
6. buddy holly is a cashcow, and it breaks my heart
7. cover bands get respect here
8. nickelback, hinder, buckcherry, and papa roach play here on a regular basis...barf
9. joe ely is too busy giving props to ryan bingham than to ever even give a nod to any lubbock musicians...THANKS JOE!
10. we don't have a waffle house!
