Its been on life support for years.
We've had some signs of life as of late, but the last two weeks have been a turn for the worse.
I'm giving the god awful STAAR test all day so I'm struggling just to stay awake and can't get on the computer until 2 ish.

Good Case in point....My sister and I. My sister was a GREAT student, studied like crazy, was well behaved, etc,etc and would always score very poorly on those tests. I could stay up all night, never study, and score very high, but I have always done well on tests. Doesn't paint an accurate picture of intelligence....just tells how well one kid tests vs the other.

I was never good at studying, but I could ace a test with the best of them.
My kid is good at both.
Her mother is a UIL State Champion in Accounting.
I was a never a champion at anything except ping pong, killing brain cells, and rearranging teeth.
Go figure.

Accounting, yuck. I'm allergic to algebra, but my mom and sister are accountants, and my dad's degree was in Math. I always figured as long as I could play my flute and hit the softball, I was good. LOL.
